LAND ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
CMHF would like to acknowledge the Traditional lands on which we gather today, and pay our respects to their Elders past and present. In particular we recognize the Anishinaabek People, now known as the Chippewa Tribe Council comprised of the Beausoleil First Nation, Chippewas of Rama First Nation and the Chippewas of Georgiana Island First Nation who commissioned the build of this historic Coldwater Mill from 1832-33. We accept our collective responsibility to honour, protect, and sustain this land.
